This chemical is most commonly used as a disinfectant for dialyzer reprocessing system. It is a cleanser is basically a mixture of acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide. Peracetic Acid is a bright, colorless solution that has a strong piercing odor and low pH value. This acid can oxidize the outer cell membranes of microorganisms.
