Diffustik
The Geratherm Diffustik is a single breath carbon monoxide diffusion system for measuring gas transfer alongside spirometry and flow volume testing. The measuring head sits on a stand that swivels through a large range, so patients can be tested seated or standing. It runs on Blue Cherry software and can be used as a single unit or networked with review workstations in a hospital department.
- Rapid infrared gas analysis
- Standing or seated measurement
- Networkable over GDT or HL7
Installation, clinical application training and 24 months warranty are included on every supply.
Key features
- Single breath CO diffusion with spirometry, flow volume and MVV in one system
- Measuring head adjusts quickly over a large swivable range for sitting or standing
- Head swivels upward and downward by approximately 60 degrees
- CO and CH4 shown against exhaled volume to assess distribution disorders
- Offline processing: washout and sample volume can be corrected manually
- Modular: extendable with MIP/MEP and ROCC, or integrated into the Bodystik
- Manoeuvre quality graded to ATS/ERS criteria with patient cooperation feedback
- GDT and HL7 interfaces for connection to the local PMS or HIS
