NIOX · FeNO by NIOX
NIOX VERO
NIOX VERO is a portable analyser that measures fractional exhaled nitric oxide (FeNO) in breath and nasal nitric oxide (nNO) from the nasal cavity. FeNO supports the assessment of type 2 airway inflammation in suspected or diagnosed asthma, and the nasal mode supports screening for primary ciliary dyskinesia. The device is service and calibration free, with internal quality checks on every start-up.
- Oral and nasal applications
- On device result library
- Over 18 million tests to date
Installation, clinical application training and 24 months warranty are included. Manufacturer brochure available on request.
Key features
- Measures both exhaled FeNO and nasal nitric oxide on one portable device
- One successful measurement gives a result in about 1 minute
- Result only generated when exhalation flow is 50 ml/second per ERS/ATS guidance
- Two exhalation modes: 10 seconds, and 6 seconds for younger children
- Two NO scrubbers exclude the effect of ambient NO on the result
- Internal quality control check runs on every start-up
- Service and calibration free, so no annual servicing cost
- On board result library lets users track measurements over time
